Main Street and Barre Street Bicycle and Pedestrian Scoping Study

The City of Montpelier, along with consultant DuBois & King are conducting a study to identify walking and bicycling improvements on Main Street and Barre Street (see study area photo below).  These corridors are increasingly busy and accommodate multiple modes of transportation including autos, freight, public transit, rail, walking, and bicycling. The study will recommend pedestrian and bicycling improvements while taking into consideration existing conditions and future development.
