Parks Commission

The five members of the Montpelier Parks Commission are your voice in City parks. We guide policy and help set the agenda for the staff of the Montpelier Parks Department. Each Parks Commissioner is elected at Town Meeting Day to staggered five-year terms:

Regular Meetings


The Parks Commission meets on the third Tuesday of the month in the conference room of the Montpelier Police Station. (If you don't find us there, check the Memorial Room at City Hall next door). The public is welcome to attend Parks Commission meetings. If you have an item for our agenda, contact our chairman, Bryan Pfeiffer.
